Welcome to the new Hibernian FC blog. I had watched this site for a while and noticed that there was a national team blog, a Celtic blog, a Rangers blog and ,*ahem*, a Hearts blog. Where was the Hibs one? After all, we do play the best flowing and attacking football in the country – we at least deserved a shot at our own blog. And here it is, a place where you can find out what’s happening down at Easter Road, and perhaps read a few inside stories while you’re at it.
Hopefully everyone will find this a good read and I hope you come back soon!

WELCOME. I’m thrilled to have a Hibees blog here on The Offside. I look forward to hearing about the Intertoto match this weekend. As a Caley fan, I can’t be wholeheartedly behind you, but if we have a Hearts, Celtic and Rangers blog, as you say, it’s necessary to cover Hibs. Welcome.

I used to live in Edinburgh and enjoyed the Hibs/Hearts rivalry, the different parts of town the grounds were in, and the supporters that followed each team. Great to have both represented on TheOffside.

Welcome to the Offsides mate! Will my blog poach you for a hefty price during the transfer season? You’re just a feeder…blog? Hahahaha, jokes of course. We here at the SPL version of the offside have a little hazing ritual…you should have seen what Ian did to me….:D
Welcome again! The Hertz and Huns bloggers have disappeared, so it will be good to have another SPLer on!

Haha thanks for the welcomes…Didn’t expect four comments so quick though.

I also got to agree with you about Hibs being a very entertaining team to watch. The Hibs-Celtic game at Celtic Park the second last week was perhaps the most entertaining game of the season.

Good to have another SPL blog to read. I guess “have” is a generous term for the Hearts and Rangers blogs. That is, unless Rangers’ last game was a triumphant victory over VFB Stuttgart. All kidding aside, welcome!
